Ross grew up in Christchurch and was educated at Christchurch Boys High School. He began his career in financial services in 1987 as an independent insurance representative in Christchurch, before moving to South Canterbury in 1990. Since then Ross has established a sound practice, Sorted for Life Ltd, which services clients throughout New Zealand, predominantly in the the South Canterbury, North Otago and MacKenzie districts. He specialisies in providing insurance solutions to farmers, small and medium sized businesses and families. Ross provides comprehensive ACC advice and risk insurance including life, trauma, income protection, health, disability and key person cover. He is a member of Financial Advice New Zealand (FANZ) and he has qualified for Membership of the Million Dollar Round Table since 2000, the premier and global association of financial professionals and has been a Life Member since 2011. Ross is passionate about ensuring that his clients have appropriate insurance cover in place to meet their needs should they face an unexpected and unwelcome event. He is committed to providing ongoing advice and service to clients. “It’s claims time when the rubber hits the road,” Ross says. “That’s what I’m here for; I don’t so much sell insurance as sell claims.” Not being tied to a particular provider ensures Ross can tailor insurance packages to work best around your personal circumstances. A family man, Ross has been married to Linda since 1978. They have five children, two of whom have been inspired to also work in the financial services industry. Ross & Linda have six grandchildren thus far and are looking forward to welcoming more in the future. Ross loves to fly and is a member of the Geraldine Flying Group and the Timaru Aero Club, and enjoys travelling, camping, boating and fishing with his family and friends. |
